Step Up MCR are proud to be involved with the following local projects in our community.

Community Thriving Together CIC supports women and children from diverse backgrounds, with a mission to foster connection, empowerment, and inclusion across the community.
Circle Of aims to give young people the opportunity to work creatively to explore race, culture, heritage and identity.
With support from Step Up MCR and in partnership with Manchester City Council, Backwell & Burman Together coordinates clean ups in the alleyway of Burman Street.
SHINE is a peer-led support group for people in recovery, created by those who have experienced addiction and now want to give back by supporting others on their journey.
Founded by Marcelina Stengert, Newleaf seeks to combat social isolation, boost mental health, and promote overall wellbeing in the local community.
Many Hands Craft Collective is a group of creative older people based at Victoria Square in Ancoats. Some of the group are residents of the iconic building - which is the oldest social housing building in Europe.
Chatty Craft is a free craft drop-in for adults at Beswick Library. The free sessions provide a space for creativity and friendship.
Care Kits were lovingly created by local resident Maureen Evans. These kits are suitable for those who have recently experienced cancer treatment or may be immunocompromised.
Since its establishment in 1928, Belle Vue Aces Speedway in Gorton has earned global recognition.
