Malawi Heritage UK is passionate about health, wellbeing, and tackling food poverty.
Openshaw resident and community champion Pavia Ward is a local artist known for her powerful rap, poetry, and spoken word.
Hallé St Peter’s serves as a central hub for its rehearsals and recordings, choirs and Youth Orchestra, as well as a space for educational workshops and small performances.
Beswick Urban Growers community garden (BUG) is a community project dedicated to growing organic food, and sharing that knowledge with the people of East Manchester.
Eden Gardens Orchard is a welcoming community garden in the heart of Philips Park. Open to visitors and volunteers, it offers a peaceful green space for relaxation, learning, and connection.
Supa Strikers offers affordable football coaching for children aged 2–5 in Clayton and Openshaw.
Butterfly Future is a social enterprise dedicated to breaking barriers through innovative use of music, arts, sports, and digital technology. Butterfly Future community-driven programmes focus on wellbeing, development, and upskilling the local community.
Lingua GM CIC supports communities with bilingual interpreting, translation, counselling, wellness programmes, and employability support.
