After losing her little boy at the age of four, Kerrie set out to honour Max’s memory. Kerrie has worked tirelessly to make the idea of a community led cycle track a reality, along with the love and support of her family, neighbours and the wider community.
Since 2019, Step Up MCR has proudly partnered with Max Trax CIC to help turn the dream of Max Trax into a sustainable project.
Designed in collaboration with the local community, the hub will feature a pump track, learn to ride areas, maintenance and education cabins and a community led coffee kiosk.
More than just a cycle track, Max Trax CIC is already a vital part of the North Manchester community. Through its regular events, sports activities, training and volunteer opportunities for residents and more, Max Trax has been tirelessly supporting the neighbourhood. Once complete, the track will be a place where families can come together, children can build confidence, and where community can continue to flourish.
