Led by resident Kerrie after the loss of her little boy Max Rimmer-Chambers, Max Trax has been a labour of love by a community brought together by grief.
Max was an incredible little boy adored by his family and friends. He loved to ride bikes, scooters, and anything with wheels around Delamere Park.
Since 2019, Step Up MCR has proudly partnered with Max Trax CIC to help turn the dream of Max Trax into a sustainable project.
Designed in collaboration with the local community, the hub features a pump track, learn to ride areas, bike maintenance cabins and a coffee kiosk.
More than just a cycle track, Max Trax CIC is already a vital part of the North Manchester community. Through its regular events, sports activities, training and volunteer opportunities for residents and more, Max Trax has been tirelessly supporting the neighbourhood. Once complete, the track will be a place where families can come together, children can build confidence, and where community can continue to flourish.
